The Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) Program comprises a continent-wide network of hundreds of constant-effort mist netting stations. Analyses of the resulting banding data provide critical information relating to the ecology, conservation, and management of North American land bird populations, and the factors responsible for changes in their populations.
In accordance with, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(3)(B) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency, no later than the closing date and time of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.
Responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contract Specialist at [email protected]. The e-mail shall contain the following subject line: Response to Notice of Intent for MAPS at Fort Bragg, NC. Please submit all information no later than March 11, 2016, 12:00 pm Eastern Time.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR A FORMAL PROPOSAL OR A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
