NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

Sole Source Justification

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation nor a request for
offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. The 87
Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Monaco Enterprise Inc. to provide: The
contractor shall supply and deliver eight (8) Monaco BTX Fire Alarm Pull Stations to Joint Base McGuire-
Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.

Monaco BTX Fire Alarm Pull Stations characteristics:

i. Pull station assembly must be part number 227-665-00.
ii. BTX planner support kit must be part number 207-607-00.
iii. Antenna assembly must be part number 190-400-00.
iv. Antenna cutting must be part number 199-910-00.
v. Lightning arrestor kit must be part number 198-021-01.
vi. Type 1 coax cable assembly must be part number 626-000-02.
vii. Type 2 coax cable assembly must be part number 625-100-00.
viii. Pole mounting enclosure kit must be part number 089-010-00.
ix. 10ft antenna pipe kit must be part number 199-061-00.
x. Red outdoor enclosure LED light kit must be part number 709-047-00.

A capability statement for any provider wishing to respond to this notice must include technical
information, cost information and convincing evidence that shows their ability to provide the required
hardware and software. This notice will be thoughtfully considered by the Government for all capability
statements received before the closing date.

A request for documentation or additional information or submission will be considered by the
Government. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages. The information received
will only be considered to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses
will need to demonstrate clearly and convincingly why competition would be advantageous to the
Government.

The Government has sole discretion to refuse to compete this proposed award or to provide capability
information. No reimbursement will be provided regarding any costs incurred in providing capability
information.
