The contract was issued with a contract ceiling of $250,000.00 based on estimated quantities of product needed for a 5 year contract, to $1,058,400.00. This is a firm-fixed price indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for 130-pound molasses tubs to be used as supplemental protein, vitamin, and mineral sources for feeding livestock in field conditions. The 130 lb. plastic tubs shall contain 30% crude protein, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and 200 mg of Ivermectin, per pound. This aids in Cattle Fever Tick eradication emergency program. The Veterinary Services program did not anticipate an outbreak therefore they are requesting the contract be modified to purchase additional quantities in the amount of $808,400 to meet program requirements.
