The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Boonton Electronics, Parsippany, NJ for the acquisition of thirteen (13) Modulation Analyzers (P/N 8201-S3) to support NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) program. These units support the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). They are integrated into the E-CASS and RT-CASS test benches and Test Program Sets (TPS). The Government intends to procure the DC Reference Standards and Low Thermal Test Lead sets under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
