The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island plans to procure Modernized-Radar Frequency Interferometers (MRFIs) Lots 2-6, hardware procurement and technical, logistical, test and engineering support in support of the Apache Attack Helicopter (AAH). Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS), 1801 State Rt 17 C, Owego, NY 13827-3900, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code 03640, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. LM RMS was the original developer and equipment manufacturer of the RFI System, and modernized it due to obsolescence issues. LM RMS possesses the technical expertise, data, and experience necessary to execute this requirement.
The Government plans to utilize a Fixed Price Incentive Firm, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract with five one-year ordering periods. This procurement is for the production of M-RFIs, depot lay-in spares, technical services training courses, flight-line consumables, and depot repairs and deliveries.
