The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to modify firm fixed price contract NAMA-11-M-0113 for MobileFrame barcode scanning licenses and support, with MobileFrame LLC, to include an additional 20 licenses and accompanying support. NARA's barcode scanning applications were developed using MobileFrame Enterprise Suite V4.7 and require that each handheld device have a client user licenses from MobileFrame in order to function. The proposed contract action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 43, Contract Modifications, and this notice is intended to satisfy the posting requirements of FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii). The NAICS code is 511210. The additional purchased licenses will be perpetual in duration with a 12-month base period of support beginning upon contract award, with three consecutive 12-month option periods. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements," 41 U.S.C. § 3304(a)(1).  All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, pricing data and other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement within 15 calendar days of this notice.  No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  All questions and capability statements regarding this procurement shall be addressed in writing to the Contract Support Specialist, James Watson, at [email protected].
