MARKET SURVEY ANNOUNCEMENT

THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) COMMAND AND CONTROL COMMUNICATIONS (C3) DIVISION AND NATIONAL AIRSPACE SYSTEM (NAS) RECOVERY COMMUNICATIONS (RCOM) PROGRAM
MSAT- G2 Satellite Phone Units
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for multiple satellite telephone systems and ancillary items, including Mobile Satellite (MSAT) G2 Fixed and Mobile Terminals, Iridium phones, Inmarsat phones, Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) systems, and peripheral items. Interested parties must provide the FAA with the following:
A brief statement (5 pages maximum) demonstrating their capability to perform the work in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), attachment 1, including a description of a current authorized dealer agreement with MSAT for the G2 system, and agreements with other manufacturers for other systems and items. Vendors should also include a description of successful past performance and experience delivering the products and services included in the SOW.

At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined, however, small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program are encouraged to participate in this activity.
Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form (attachment 2) and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable.
This is a market survey. This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposals (RFP) of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested firmââ¬â¢s expense.
