This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This  announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  The Request for Quotation (RFQ) N49746-12RC-00105 is issued as Unrestricted.  The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333912 Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing.  This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58 effective 18 May 2012.

DESCRIPTION:  The requirement is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract; Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for MK-25 Parts - See attached SF-1449 Solicitation.  Also, this is a brand name requirement.

PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS:  Packaging and preservation shall be performed in accordance with the best commercial practices to affort maximum protection against damages.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTION:  Item shall be price at F.O.B. Destination.  Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the Government.  Quotes shall provide delivery dates for each part listed in the attached solicitation.

DEADLINE FOR RFQ QUESTIONS:  All questions regarding this requirement shall be submitted electronically to Amando Lastrella at [email protected] no later than June 18, 2012 at 10:00AM PST to allow adequate time to prepare a response.

DEADLINE FOR RFQ SUBMISSION:  Quotes must be received in Microsoft Word Document, no later than 8:00AM June 22,2012 PST.  Quotes received after this time frame will not be considered for award.  The Government  will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Goverment based on lowest price technically acceptable.
