The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Mission Rabies USA, Inc., 717 Henderson Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94086. The purpose of this acquisition is to develop a data collection tool that will allow for better management of rabies control programs and provide more accurate and timely canine rabies surveillance and vaccination data through a mobile phone application for a 12 month base period and three - 12 month option periods.
In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541940 – Veterinary Services.
This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity website. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit their capability/qualifications and other supporting information to Priscilla Turner at [email protected] on or before June 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. All information received on or before Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time of this notice will be considered by the Government to determine if the more than one firm can meet the Government's requirements and is capable of providing technically acceptable services. A determination not to compete the described requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
