The 341st Contracting Squadron intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price services contract for the Missile Alert Facilities (MAF) Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation at Malmstrom AFB, MT. The requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 237110 and the small business size standard is 35.5 Million dollars.

Contractor shall furnish all personnel, services, equipment, materials, facilities, and other requirements necessary for, or incidental to, the performance of work set forth herein.

In carrying out this requirement, the Contractor shall perform downhole video inspections, physical and chemical cleaning of the water well casings and well screens, and maintenance of the water well pump systems at nine (9) MAFs. At 15 MAFs, the 7,000-gallon underground water storage tank water shall be cleaned, visually inspected and repaired if need be. A sacrificial anode system will be installed inside all the storage tanks. Only one (1) MAF may be worked at a time.

At all times throughout performance of this requirement, one person performing the well inspection and well rehabilitation shall have a professional Water Well Driller license in the State of Montana. This water well professional shall be a "duly authorized representative" of the Contractor for the water well work

The place of performance shall be at the following 15 MAFs; A-1, B-1, C-1, D-1, E-1, F-1, G-1, H-1, I-1, J-1, K-1, L-1, M-1, N-1, and O-1 located in the Malmstrom AFB missile complex.

The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.

The resultant solicitation will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) and a single award will be based on commercial procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The RFP number will be FA4626-11-R-0017 and will be issued via FedBizOpps (FBO) as will any amendments to the solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed.
