This announcement constitutes a Special Notice for a proposed award to Sierra Land Group, Inc. DBA Caribe Royale. This requirement is for meeting rooms and multiple breakout rooms to include audio/visual setup and teardown, and light refreshments over a three (3) day period (February 17, 2011 to February 19, 2011) for a total of approximately 590 conference attendees.
The Air Force has attached an approved sole source Justification & Approval (J&A) for proposal to Sierra land Group, Inc. DBA Caribe Royale who is currently supporting the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS) in this capacity. The Tri-Service Medical Information Services Symposium (MISS) is held simutaniously with HIMSS. HIMSS is a professional organization that choses the location and facilities annually for this conference. Statutory authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one, source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is for information only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Air Force will not pay for either the effort or the associated costs to respond, or for any information provided.
