The construction involves 0.5 mile asphalt-concrete street rehabilitation on Minnewawa Avenue from Shaw Avenue to Barstow Avenue. The work includes excavation, compaction, saw cutting, pavement grinding, pavement reinforcing fabric, construction of asphalt concrete pavement, adjustments of existing utility valves and manholes, installation of traffic loop detectors, traffic signal modification, and replacements of traffic striping. Bids must be filed with the City Clerk at the Clovis Civic Center prior to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at which time the City Clerk will open said bids. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked: "Bid Proposal: Minnewawa Avenue Street Improvements"
