The Air Armament Center, 308th ARSG/PK, 692nd ARSS/PK, intends to award a three year sole source requirements contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson Az. for program support of the Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD) and MALD Jammer (MALD-J) programs. This support is for non-routine engineering support activities that are not within the scope of the current development contracts. Types of efforts include, but are not limited to, Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) support, Reliability Assessment program for low rate initial and full rate production. Support will also be for production transition from System Development and Demonstration to Production. The contract maximum value is estimated to be $15M. Raytheon Missile Systems is the only known company that has the detailed knowledge necessary to provide this required MALD/MALD-J specific support.
