The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of forty-seven (47) mini-integrated pointer illuminator modules, AN/PEQ-16A, for Luke AFB, AZ. The contractor shall purchase and deliver 47 modules to Luke AFB. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 423910. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price commodity contract will be awarded. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and make a single award to one offeror. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Aug 2009 with a 15 day proposal period. This acquisition will be an 8(a) sole source set-aside reserved for Source One Distributors. The solicitation and all subsequent notices and amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://fedbizops.gov. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
