The purpose of the Minarets Administration Site Stewardship project is to abate and remove (from Forest Service land) designated hazard trees over 10.0 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) from within the Minarets Administration Site. Treatment requirements include: felling, skidding and removal of Included Product meeting minimum specifications.
This work will include, but is not limited to, all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering and transportation necessary to perform the stated purpose of this statement of work and may include cutting, piling and removal of standing and downed trees, dead and live brush, limbs and designated live conifers, existing slash and forest debris resulting from current and prior operations and/or events.
Potential equipment that will be required to accomplish all work requirements includes but is not limited to: rubber tired skidder with grapple and "bull line," grader, log loader, feller-buncher (optional), skid steer (optional), chainsaws, and directional felling equipment.
Project Location - The legal location of the project is T6S R24E., Section: 16 MDB&M. Associated quad map; Minarets Work Center 4171 Piyau Dome, North Fork, CA.
The date of award is expected to be within 14 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments.
