Synopsis:

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. Any information provided by businesses to the Government is strictly voluntary. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested businesses responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Contact with other than 502d Contracting Squadron personnel by potential offerors or their employees regarding this notice is prohibited.

The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research only. The 59th Medical Wing located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas has an existing need for maintenance and support for Mimics Dental Software at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC).

The 502d Contracting Squadron anticipates a firm fixed-price contract.

The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be publicized through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors are solely responsible for monitoring the Internet to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies and/or electronic mail of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will not be provided under any circumstances.

Prospective offerors shall have a current System for Award Management (SAM) registration prior to contract award.

Interested businesses should respond to the questions presented within this Sources Sought Notice in order to facilitate the Government's market research efforts. The Government will analyze all responses and determine the business strategy for this acquisition.
