P&C CONSTRUCTION NORTH CLACKAMAS SCHOOL DISTRICT (NCSD) MILWAUKIE EL PUENTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS Bids Due 2:00 pm PST, October 17, 2019 REQUEST FOR BID - BID PACKAGE THREE (3) Lump sum bids for the "Milwaukie El Puente Elementary School Improvements - Bid Package Three (3)" will be received by the Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC), P&C Construction (P&C), by the time and date listed above. The scope of work for this solicitation includes all activities as defined in bid docu ments and Cost Proposal Forms prepared by P&C. NOTE: Work in this bid package shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for a complete scope of work identified in the Bid Documents. The scope of work for this solicitation includes only the following Work Packages: Work Package 01 - Selective Demolition and Abatement Work Package 02 - Structural Concrete and Site Concrete Work Package 03 - Masonry Work Package 04 - Structural Steel Work Package 05 - Rough Carpentry and Miscellaneous Steel Work Package 06 - Casework Work Package 07 - Roofing Work Package 08 - Flashing and Sheet Metal Work Package 09 - Waterproofing and Joint Sealants Work Package 10 - Weather Resistant Barrier Work Package 11 - Frames, Doors, and Hardware Work Package 12 - Aluminum Storefront and Glazing Work Package 13 - Wall and Ceiling Systems Work Package 14 - Flooring Work Package 15 - Ceramic Tiling Work Package 16 - Painting Work Package 17 - Miscellaneous Inte rior Specialties Work Package 18 - Signage Work Package 19 - Fire Suppression Systems Work Package 20 - Plumbing Work Package 21 - HVAC Work Package 22 - Landscaping NOTE: All electrical and low voltage work has been procured through a previous bid package. Therefore, bids for this portion of work are NOT part of Bid Package Three (3). An affiliate of P&C will be submitting a bid for "Work Package 02 - Structural Concrete and Site Concrete" and a bid for "Work Package 05 - Rough Carpentry and Miscella neous Structural Steel". Therefore, any firm that wishes to submit a bid for either Work package 02 or Work Package 05, shall submit such bid(s) to Owner's Representative via email by bid due date and time. Bid(s) shall be labeled "Milwaukie El Puente Elementary School Work Package 02 - Concrete" or "Milwaukie El Puente Elemen tary School Work Package 05 - Rough Carpentry/Misc Steel" and emailed to Emil Hameed, Owner's Representative at [email protected]. NOTE: Any bids received by Mr. Hameed after due date and time, or submitted in any manner other than that listed above, will not be accepted. A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting for this bid package is scheduled for 2:30 P.M. P.S.T on Thursday October 3, 2019. All attendees to the pre-bid meeting should meet at the front entrance of Milwaukie El Puente Elemen tary School located at 11250 SE 27th Ave. Milwaukie, Oregon on date and time indicated. Due to the nature of this work it is strongly recommended interested bidders attend the pre-bid meeting to best understand the existing conditions. Failure to do so, or to submit an incomplete bid, will likely cause bidder's bid to be deemed non-responsive and thus rejected. All bidders must clearly outline their ability, capacity, and associated cost to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obli gations arising hereunder. P&C reserves the right to consider in the post-bid evalu ation, the ability of bidder to provide payment and performance bonds, the associated cost of payment and perfor mance bonds, and the current financial resources of the bidder. Successful proposer will be required to enroll and participate in the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) provided for this project. No exceptions. This project is a prevailing wage project in accordance with Oregon Revised Stat utes 279C.800-870. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board at the time of submis sion of their proposals and carry all licensing and bonding required for a public project in the State of Oregon. P&C reserves the right to: reject any and all bids; reject any bid not in compliance with the bidding procedures and requirements; reject for good cause any bid that would be in the public's best interest to do so; and waive minor irregu larities in any or all bid responses.
