The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires Milplanner, Flight Deck Pro and OPT Airport database software licenses for the P-8 aircraft. The Government intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract on a sole source basis to Jeppesen, 55 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112. The maximum quantity which may be ordered for each software license is fifty (50). Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only provider of the required software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
