The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development intends to procure, on a sole source basis, Milliplex Human Cytokin/Chemokin Magnetic Bead Premixed 29 Plex kit from EMD Millipore Corporation, 290 Concord Road, Billerica, MA 01821. The sole source determination is based on the product providing multiple cytokine and chemokine biomarkers with Bead-Base Multiplex Assays using the Luminex technology, in human serum, plasma, amniotic fluid and cell culture samples with broad range. It also provides a combination of 29 analytes that will match the Perinatology Research Branch's clinical and cell culture samples. In compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. This solicitation is not a Small Business Set-Aside. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; all responses received, before the closing date, of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the RFQ NIH-NICHD-17-261 will be available five (5) days after the publication date of this synopsis.
