OVERVIEW: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) on behalf of Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) to establish a one-time purchase with one authorized supplier who will provide Miller Multiprocess Welders or an Equivalent Brand to their Welding and Joining Technology Program (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Coastal Pines Technical College is seeking to purchase new Multiprocess Welders and accessories for the Welding and Joining Technology lab at their new Kingsland Campus in Kingsland, Georgia. The Welding and Joining Technology Program is interested in purchasing four Miller Dynasty 280 DX Welders and fifteen Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Welders but will consider any brand of welders that are capable of meeting or exceeding the bid specifications. Bidders must be authorized by the manufacturer to sell the proposed welders. The Kingsland Campus is currently under construction and the tentative shipping date for all equipment is set for August 3, 2020. The campus does not have a forklift or loading dock.
