Maintenance subscription for Millenium Software, providing an Integrated Library System to the Library of the Marine Corps.  Two Option Years will be requested.  The sole provider is Innovative Interfaces, Inc.

This acquisition is proposed to be made using other than full and open competition based on only one responsible source.  Millenium is a proprietary application software system that provides an Integrated Library System (ILS) capability to the Library of the Marine Corps.  The ILS software creates a library enterprise environment that manages all library applications:  selection, accession, receipt cataloging, public and staff access, circulation, registration, overdues, withdrawals, etc. through integrated files.  Millenium was installed at the Library of the Marine Corps (LoMC) in December 2009 and all library functions and procedures are dependent on the Innovative Interfaces, Inc. provided software.

No Request For Proposal is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit a written statement of capability for satisfying this requirement to the email address identified above not later than 22 June 2012.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a Sole Source basis to the Contractor specified below:
