Sealed bids for construction of Water Meter Replacement GEFA will be received until 3:00 PM, April 22nd, 2021 at the City of Millen City Hall at 919 College Avenue, Millen, Georgia 30442 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Implement a meter change-out for approximately 1,641 water meters with AMI modules. A work summary will include the removal of existing water meters and installation of new water meters with AMI transmitters. The City of Millen will supply the meters. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.
