ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project: 2022 Mill and Overlay Bids for the "2022 Mill and Overlay Project" for the City of Garden City, Kansas, will be received at the Utility Service Center (USC), 140 Harvest Street, P.O. Box 998, Garden City, Kansas, until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at which time the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Large Conference Room. The Project consists of the following: Mary Street – 2" Mill and Overlay from Taylor Avenue west to approximately sixty feet east of the railroad tracks and sixty feet west of the railroad tracks west of the VFW intersection (only North and South driving lanes, not to include center turn lane. The City will provide Temporary Traffic Control. Third Street – 2" Mill and Overlay Mary Street north to Stone Street. The City will provide Temporary Traffic Control. All bids shall be made on printed forms, which may be obtained from the City's website www.garden-city.org at no charge. A printed copy can be picked up at the Utility Service Center, 140 Harvest Street, Garden City, Kansas. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time once the bid is received. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed in the public's best interest.
