The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to Fisher & Thompson, Inc., 15 Newport Road, Leola, PA, 17540. Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to upgrade the milking parlor. This requirement will be for the purchase of the following:

Easy Start Switches - QTY 12
Leg ID with Activity Tags - QTY 200
Leg Bands - QTY 220
Update sort gate to work with new ID tags

The NAICS code for this requirement is 333111 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
