The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority permitting Other than full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to West Publishing Corporation,(DBA) West, A Reuters Business 610 Opperman Drive, St Paul, MN, 55123, for renewal of West's Military Justice Reporter in the Exchange Program. This subscription covers Volume 71 of the Military Justice Reporter and advance sheets. This publication has been designated as the official reporter for the Court and the editorial contents are copyrighted by the publisher/vendor. The Government anticipates a single Purchase Order Award.

The Contractor shall provide:

FY 2012 Renewal subscription of the Court's official reporter, West's Military Justice Reporter, to other government agencies and courts, law schools, and other legal organizations. For this fiscal year, the subscription covers one volume - Volume 71. The pagination of these volumes is also copyrighted.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
