SYNOPSIS:
The 802d Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Complete Parachute Solutions, Inc., 1320 E. International Speedway Blvd. Suite 1, Deland, Florida 32724 for the acquisition of 100 complete Military Javelin (MJ-10/12^TM), Tandem Training and Tandem SOV3 modular systems. The proposed contract action is for a commodity for which the Government intends to award to one source under authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals of approved alternate systems (per Air Force Personnel Parachute Program (AF PPP) which has been tested and evaluated by the Test Parachutist Program (TPP) thru the Major Military Command (MMC) PPPM at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB CA) received within two business days after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by 2:00 p.m., CST on Thursday, 23 Jun 11, which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
