PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13.   The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number E006401.  The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423610, Electrical Apparatus & Equipment, Wiring Supplies & Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers.  The size standard is 100 employees.  This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business.

 

The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract.  Brand name items are required. 

 

Brand Name Justification:  The Milestone XProtect Enterprise software for video surveillance is currently being used.  These are additional licenses are for the existing software and licenses that the FBI has already purchased.

Shipping Instructions:

Shipping under this requirement shall be FOB destination.  Items shall be delivered to Quantico, VA . 

 

Submission Instructions

Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Lauren Caperton at [email protected].  The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before August 26, 2008 at 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time.  Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ E006818."  All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to Lauren Caperton via email.  Quotes shall include a point of contact (including phone number, fax number and email address), contractor DUN's number and TIN number.  ALL QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 60 DAYS.

FBI Critical Asset Review Requirement (CAR):   In addition, the required piece of equipment is considered a critical asset.   Prior to award, the intended awardee will be required to submit documentation to include Acquisistion Risk Questions and a Key Personnel Listing.  Once this information has been received it is anticipated that it will be one month before the delivery order is awarded.
