Description 

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Nor'eastern Trawl Systems, Inc.  for Trawl doors for 5.0m Alloy Midwater Trawl Doors to be used in the Gulf of Alaska and eastern Bering Sea.  The design used over ten years is proprietary design and alternatives are not accepted due to performance and standards for this research.

This notice of intent is for information purposes only, therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.  All sources eligible to provide this supply must respond in writing, response must be supported by clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide services for products outlined above.  A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response.  If no responses are received, within 10 days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable services are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these services through a sole-source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.  Response to this award is to be sent to [email protected] or to fax number (907) 789-6004.
