PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY RECPLEX LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE Sealed proposals will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, on or before 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, for the following: MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex Landscape Maintenance Proposers shall submit their proposals in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “Proposal for MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex Landscape Maintenance”. Office of the City Clerk City of West Des Moines 4200 Mills Civic Parkway P.O. Box 65320 West Des Moines, IA 50265-0320 Specifications may be secured at the Parks and Recreation Department, City of West Des Moines, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa, or by contacting Matt Nelson, RecPlex Operations Supervisor, at 515-440-4810. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and waive irregularities and technicalities as determined to be in the best interest of said City. A pre-proposal tour of the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex site will be held on April 14, 2022, promptly at 1:00 pm at 6500 Grand Avenue. All interested proposers are encouraged to attend for a tour of the site and time for questions and answers. Inspection and tour of the site is not mandatory. This will be the only inspection and tour offered.
