The Air Force test Center, contracting directorate, Test, Evaluation, and Specialized Contracts branch (Eglin), located at 205 West D Avenue, Suite 414, Eglin Air Force Base, Fl 32542, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Janos Technology, LLC., LLC., 55 Black Brook Road, Keene, NH for a Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) Collimator System plus one additional lens. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate, and award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), under the basis that Janos Technology, LLC holds all of the proprietary technical and data rights to the current MWIR Collimator systems in utilization. Current systems are in present utilization and the requirement must show precise compatibility with the existing collimator systems and allow direct component substitution. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, and a Request for Proposal/Request for Quote will not be issued for this requirement. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this requirement type is 333314 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement through an electronic submission of a statement of capabilities limited to three (3) pages. No contract will be awarded solely on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is with the discretion of the Government.
