The City of San Marcos (“the City”) requests Responses from interested qualified Respondents to provide a last mile Microtransit Solution to downtown employees, citizens, and visitors utilizing electric vehicles, in accordance with the terms and Scope of Services specified in the RFP document. The City of San Marcos Parking Advisory Board has conducted monthly meetings in addition to several Special Meetings for the purpose of discussing and considering last-mile options available to employees, citizens, and visitors to San Marcos, Texas, regarding parking and mobility, particularly for accessing the Historic Downtown as well as the river district. The Board requested and was granted the use of Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) funds for an eighteen (18) month Microtransit Solution turnkey pilot program. The City has been allotted $500,000 for this pilot program, which must cover all expenses related to this program. The contract amount cannot exceed $500,000 during the pilot program period.
