The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to upgrade the roadway and improve drainage along approximately 2,450 linear feet of Michelle Drive. This project will involve, but is not limited to clearing, grubbing, excavation, installation of drainage culverts; import and placement of borrow material, import and placement of surface course and pavement, and placing topsoil and seed. The project will construct a new roadway by extending Michelle Drive to Willow Fishhook Road. This project is partially funded by a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster grant DR4094, PW82.
