Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing Stairs and Railings and reinforcements and the subsequent installation of stairs, railings and reinforcements and related materials and systems as identified in the Contract Documents. Bid Information: The Memphis Housing Authority, Memphis, Tennessee will receive bids for the Replacement of Exterior Stairs and Balconies at GE Patterson Pointe/Fowler Multifamily, Memphis, Tennessee. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the offices of the Memphis Housing Authority, 700 Adams Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid should be directed in writing, by 4:00 P.M. Central Standard time on Friday, March 29, 2024, to Kelitia Dickson, Director of Capital Improvements, Memphis Housing Authority, 700 Adams Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Inquiries may be faxed to (901) 544-1312 to the attention of Kelitia Dickson. Oral explanations or instructions will not be binding. Responses to inquiries will be made in the form of written addenda to the Invitation to Bid. The Memphis Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding. Pre-Bid Information: One Pre-Bid Conference will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. CST at the Memphis Housing Authority, 700 Adams Avenue, Boardroom, Room 216. A site visit to each site will follow immediately after each prebid conference. Although, neither the Pre-Bid Conference nor the site visit is a bidding requirement, all offerors are strongly encouraged to attend.
