• Scope of Work • The City of Gainesville – Dept. of Water Resources proposes this project for the purpose of changing out an estimated 2740 meters, at various locations. The meter installation must meet all of the City of Gainesville Minimum Specifications. The vendor will provide the City with a weekly work schedule and the meters and materials will be issued based on the vendor’s work schedule. The vendor will be responsible to return all old meters to the City of Gainesville. All inventory will be issued from, 1006 S. Bradford Street Ext, Gainesville, GA 30501. All old meters will be brought to 1006 S. Bradford Street Ext, Gainesville, GA 30501. The vendor will be required to do a spreadsheet weekly showing meter changes for every meter changed. The vendor will be responsible to ensure that everything is exactly the same when they leave the site, as it was when they started the meter replacements, (ex) pipes, fittings, concrete, etc. The vendor will be responsible for any cost of materials, if there is damage of pipes, concrete, (ex) sidewalks, driveways & vaults. The contractor will be responsible to schedule meter changes at locations, if applicable. The City of Gainesville staff will follow up at each site and program meters, of all meters, 2” and above, contractor will be responsible for programming the ¾” and 1” meters, etc. • Time frame contractor is liable to fix customer issues is 1 year. If the City deems the problem was caused by the contractor, then the City will contact the contractor to fix the said problem. It will be on a case by case basis with no parameters set for distance from location. • Project Time Frame: January, 2021 thru May, 20
