INVITATION TO BID The City of Marietta, will receive sealed bids for the Merritt Park Trail Renovation RFB-24-50460 The City of Marietta wishes to renovate approximately 1000’ of trail located at Merritt Park. The project will include the selective removal of the existing asphalt trail and the installation of a ne 6’ wide concrete trail overtop of the existing trail. The project bid also includes the modification of 2 existing yard drains and the installation of erosion control equipment as required. Bids will be received by the Purchasing Division, 1st floor, City Hall, 205 Lawrence Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday May 16, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted. Bid documents may be reviewed and obtained at the Purchasing Division at 205 Lawrence Street, Marietta, Georgia 30060 or by email to Denise Hall at [email protected] with a refer to RFB-24-50460 Merritt Park Trail Renovation. There shall be a Mandatory Pre-bid conference to be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.pm., located at the Merritt Park (parking lot), 501 Wallace Road, Marietta, Georgia. Contract if and when awarded will be on the basis of information contained in the Bid Documents and other information as requested. Bids must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening. City of Marietta reserves the right to award the work on whatever basis is in the best interest of the City and to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in the bids.
