The 12FTW/ AFSEC requires an upgrade to their existing MERLIN Aircraft Birdstrike Avoidance Radar system (MERLIN) in use at the JBSA-Randolph airfield. This upgrade will replace four (4) radar interface/signal processing computers that are no longer supported by Windows XP with two (2) new computers that are compatible with the current RCIx legacy cards.
