The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires three (3) Meon Test Set P/N 001-007747-401, NSN: 4920-01-569-9899 and three (3) Meon Tripod, P/N 059-001656-0001, NSN: 5865-01-506-0102.   The Government intends to issue a contract on a sole source basis to Northrup Grumman (CAGE CODE 26916) for the required equipment.  Northrup Grumman is considered the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment because they own all the proprietary data and drawings.  Therefore, Northrup Grumman is the only vendor capable of producing the equipment to meet the Government requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
