The 177th Fighter Wing intends to award a sole source contract to Assa Abloy Entrance Systems, Megadoor USA, Inc. 611 Highway 74 South, Suite 100, Peachtree City, GA 30269. The award will be for the Annual Maintenance of 26 Megadoors base wide.

This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source. Awarding to another vendor will result in a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.

All qualified sources must respond not later than Noon, EST Monday, 24 August 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
