The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for a 5-day (Monday-Friday) NRC-RES-EPRI Fire PRA Workshop. The period of performance is October 25, 2010 through October 29, 2010. The hotel/conference center shall be near (within 15 miles) of the NRC Headquarters located at 11555 Rockville Pike, MD 20852 and within walking distance to a Metrorail station. Quoters must specify distance to nearest station and the station name in the quote. The hotel must have the following amenities: suitable conference room(s) with good visibility; business center capabilities; internet access, telephone access, audio capabilities, and copy machines available. No Meals or refreshments are required.
Space required: October 26 (Tuesday) from 8:00AM - noon and October 29 (Friday) from noon-5PM are general sessions - large room with theater seating arrangement w/seating for approximately 100-120. October 25-29 four rooms with classroom style seating arrangement w/seating for 20-40 (not needed when large room for general sessions is in place). Other equipment needed: Podium, microphones for speakers and audience in general session, general & classroom sessions require five projectors, projection screen for each session, and easels. Quoters must permit NRC staff to videotape the general sessions and the classroom sessions. Quoters must specify that NRC staff will be permitted to videotape the workshop in the quote. Submit quotes on the attached price schedule. Award will be made to the low-price technically acceptable offeror.
