The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of Main Operating Room intends to award a sole source procurement to Medtronic for Annuloplasty Ring Bands.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is urgent and needed for patient care. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids.
