Los Angeles Job Corps Center intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a evaluated Firm Fixed Price subcontract for Medical Clinical Services to staff and prospective employees. 

The medical services rendered are for the purpose of drug screening, slips and falls and other related injuries that may occur on our facilities during business and or operational hours, at the Los Angeles Job Corps Center, 1020 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, California 90015.  The medical facility shall be located within the Los Angeles area, close proximity to our aforementioned location.  

The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles which operates the Los Angeles Job Corps Center (LAJCC) under contract with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration is requesting bids to provide Medical Clinic Services.

The IFB will be available on November 23, 2011.  The IFB closing date is scheduled to be December 23, 2011.  Actual dates will be identified in the IFB.

Interested offerors mus be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.

The award will be based on a lowest cost/price bid.

The term of the agreement will have a 2-year base period, plus (3) options for one (1) year each.

This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the LAJCC pay for the information solicited; no basis for claim against LAJCC shall arise as a result from a response to this notice or use of the information provided.
