The work to be performed consists, in general, of constructing a new median island with stamped concrete finish north of Tower Way on Mohawk Street and refinishing the existing surface of the existing median directly north of the new construction and south of the Carrier Canal. Replacing three existing manholes with new concrete pad, frame and cover. Contractor shall provide traffic control during construction on this arterial street. During the bidding of this project, contractors who have questions or desire clarifications about the bid documents, must submit those questions or requests for clarifications in writing using the form provided in the bid documents. Said questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted by the date identified in the project schedule in Section 4 of these Special Provisions.
