The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking interested business sources for a Supply contract entitled: McNary Spillway - Pier & Roadway Removable Guardrails. Delivery of the guardrails will be to McNary Lock and Dam in Umatilla County, Oregon. This will be a firm-fixed-price supply contract.

Summary of Scope of Work:
The McNary Lock and Dam Spillway needs new guardrails that will be installed along the full length of the spillway on the roadway deck into existing embedded guardrail sockets. The roadway guardrails will have two unique segments. In addition to these guardrails each pier will require two segments of guardrail. Three unique guardrail segments will be required for this acquisition.
The scope of work is to fabricate and deliver the following aluminum guardrails. Prior to fabrication verify embedded guardrail socket spacing. All posts are 2-inch schedule 80 aluminum pipe. All top and mid rails are 2-inch schedule 40 aluminum pipe. All aluminum pipe shall be ASTM B429 alloy 6061-T6. All toe boards shall be American standard channel shape C4 x 1.58 meeting ASTM B308 alloy 6061 T-6.
All on-site work shall be performed in accordance with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1).
Prior to onsite verification of dimensions, the Contractor will be required to develop and submit for Government acceptance an Activity Hazard Analyses that complies with EM 385-1-1.
The Contractor will be required to provide submittals for items such as Activity Hazard Analysis, shop drawings and as-built drawings as required by the technical specifications of the contract.
