Solicitation N00421-12-T-0053 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on sole source basis with Mcdowell Research, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 6.302-1. Mcdowell Research is the manufacturer of the MRC-187. These power supplys provided the input, output, battery, and rear facing connectors..Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This maybe accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm.

Award is anticipated 30 November 2011. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 28 November 2011 at 9amEST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
