Port of Seattle, Seattle Tacoma International Airport South Concourse Evolution Project Notice of Request for Proposal for the Selection of SC/CM for Mechanical Services Pursuant to RCW 39.10.385 – Alternative subcontractor selection process, Hensel Phelps is requesting Proposals from Qualified Firms in order to select the Mechanical Subcontractor / Construction Manager (MC/CM) for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport South Concourse Evolution (SCE) Project. An RFP for the for the MC/CM procurement will be released on September 23, 2024, and will be due on October 18, 2024. Interested parties will be able to obtain the RFPs on the indicated dates by signing up for the project via Building Connected at: https://app.buildingconnected.com/public/5bc50ee0c2890a001fbbce30. A non-mandatory Pre-proposal Information Meeting and Site Walk will be held to provide all interested parties with more information about the subject project. Pre-Proposal Meeting Date: August 15, 2024 Pre-Proposal Meeting Time: 1:00 PM PST Pre-Proposal Meeting Location: SeaTac International Airport Conference Center, London Conference Room, SeaTac WA 98158 Site Walk will be conducted following the Pre-Proposal meeting and will be limited to three (3) people per firm. Registration for the walk can be done by emailing [email protected] . A government-issued form of identification and PPE is required on the day of the walk. PPE Requirements: hard hats, protective eye covering, safety vests, and sturdy shoes: Optional: ear protection and gloves. Successful Proposer will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds for all subcontracts exceeding $100,000. Subcontracts shall be executed on Hensel Phelps Construction Co. standard subcontract forms, copies of which will be included with the RFP documents. A Workers’ Compensation Waiver of Subrogation will be required of all Subcontractors.
