A. General
a. Type of Solicitation:  This is a SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY for furnishing dormitories with new mattresses

c. Closing date of submission:  10/2/2015

B. Period of Performance:  December 21, 2015-December 31, 2015

C. Scope of Work

• The Contractor shall remove and dispose of 380 of the current mattresses in the dormitories
  
  

  The Contractor shall provide and install new mattresses to the dormitories with mattress protectors

  D.Specifications:
  Size: Twin XL size 39"x80"
  The mattresses are to be premium dormitory mattress with an inner spring
  Bed bug proof, waterproof, and stain resistant
  With a woven nylon cover with a breathable sleep surface for comfort with antibacterial, antifungal, and odor free.
  Designed for years of comfort and use under the rugged institutional use of a dormitory setting
  Must meet current flammable requirements from the Code of Federal Regulations 16CFR1633

  d.Serrato Form 542 (if over $30,000)

  F.Pricing schedule in quotation to provide:
  a.Labor break out in accordance with the Service Contract Act
  i.Hours
  ii.Total Labor
  b.Mattresses and mattress covers
  c.Shipping
  d.Disposal of old mattresses

  G.Evaluation Criteria:
  To be considered for award, a quote must comply in all material respects with the invitation for quote. Award will be made to that responsible contractor whose quote, conforming to the invitation, is most advantageous to Serrato Corporation, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation. Pricing should be provided in accordance with Section E-Pricing Schedule
