This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for replacement mattresses for the NOAA ship RONALD H. BORWN.

The solicitation number is NMAN72936-11-02828, and is issued as a RFQ.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40.

This action is a Total Small Business Set-aside, for NAICS code 337910, with a size standard of no more than 500 employees.

See the attached RFQ and inventory list for the items to be provided.

All work is to be completed NLT 05/31/2011. The mattresses will be delivered to the NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown, 1050 Register Street, Charleston, SC 24905.

The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest responsible Offerror. All Quotes are to be accompanied by a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.

The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition .
