The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to BioMatrix Sciences Inc. to purchase two types of test kits: MSMC100-001 - MatrixSeq MERS Coronavirus Assay Kits, quantity: nine (9) total and MS32-001 - MatrixSeq Sepsis Assay Kits, quantity: nineteen (19). Accordingly, BioMatrix Sciences Inc. is the only firm capable of providing the supplies described. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501(a). The anticipated award date is 13 March 2015. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements.
