DHS thanks industry for participating in Request for Information (RFI) HSHQDC-10-R-00052. RFI responses revealed a wide range of capabilities with varying levels of experience and expertise in the types of SETA support required by the Science & Technology Directorate (S&T), Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO), and Office of Health Affairs (OHA). Based on the responses received DHS plans to conduct separate acquisitions pertaining to the unique SETA needs of each component. The separate acquisitions are anticipated to encompass the placement of both indefinite quantity ordering vehicles or blanket purchase agreements as well as standalone contracts or task orders using FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 8.4 procedures, with portions of the requirements being reserved or targeted for small business as applicable. Solicitations for the separate acquisitions are anticipated to be released in the March - May 2011 time frame. Please continue to monitor FedBizOpps for updates specific to the separate acquisitions planned for each component. DHS appreciates industry's interest in fulfilling S&T, DNDO, and OHA SETA requirements and looks forward to further exchanges with industry during the conduct of each separate acquisition.
