DESCRIPTION: The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 or the authority of the Services Acquisition Reform Act of 2003), and FAR Part 12. Under the sole source authority 41 U.S.C. 428a, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). MATLAB Annual Software Llicense is being procured. Award to MATHWORKS, INC., 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA 01760-2098 in the amount of $470,438.25, will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award on or about 25 MARCH 2014. MATHWORKS, INC. is the sole manufacturer of the required supplies to support 412th Test Wing Engineering Post-Test Analyses.

This is not a request for competitive proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. No costs will be incurred by the Government for submittals in response to this notice. The Government will consider all responses received within 5 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered exclusively for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by Close of Business (COB) STATED BELOW a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price Contract will be accomplished with MATHWORKS, INC., 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA. Place of Contract performance: 45 N Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. F.O.B. Destination. Delivery Schedule Renewal period is 1 April 2014 to 31 Dec 2014, after receipt of offer. This is not a small business set-aside.
